 The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League Wyoming District will be offering four (4) scholarships for the 2019-2020 school year.

ELIGIBILITY Requirements include:

  • College/seminary students who are members of the Wyoming District Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod attending an LCMS higher educational institution 
  • First priority will be given to those students studying for full-time church work, especially seminary students and rostered church workers 
  • Special consideration will be made for undergraduate students attending an LCMS higher education institution if there are no qualified applicants to meet the above requirements

 Each scholarship is to be equally divided for the Fall/Spring semesters and two alternates will be chosen as recipients in case one of the original recipients becomes ineligible.


In addition, one scholarship will be awarded to a student from the Wyoming District – LCMS going into full-time church work, with preference towards seminarians, attending an LCMS higher educational institution. This scholarship may be awarded to a descendent of Alex and LeOra Pitsch meeting the above criteria if a member of the Wyoming District is not eligible.
