History of LWML WY District

The first organizational meeting of the newly formed LWML Wyoming District was held in October, 1970. The first district convention was held, May 15, 1971.

"Lutheran Women from across the Panhandle of Nebraska across the plains to the majestic Tetons of Wyoming are joining hands and pulling together for their own LWML District.  Action started last October when members from all Zones involved met in Casper, Wyoming to lay plans for a new District.  With Spiritual and technical assistance from our District President the Rev. Henry Nierman, a board was elected."
